Looking for a cozy Japanese-style lodge in Tsugaike at a reasonable price?
Matsunokitei welcomes guests from around the world with warm hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere.
Located in the heart of Tsugaike Kogen, Matsunokitei offers 15 guest rooms as well as a private chalet “Irori” for families and groups.
Our homemade meals feature local Shinshu ingredients, including fresh vegetables, regional meats, traditional Japanese side dishes, and warm hot-pot meals such as shabu-shabu and sukiyaki.
Enjoy the comforting flavors of Shinshu in the peaceful atmosphere of the Japanese Alps.
Matsunokitei is conveniently located just steps from the Oya-no-hara slope and near the Tsugaike Gondola “Eve,” just a short walk from the Oya-no-hara slope.
We also provide ski storage and free parking for our guests.

It was newly renovated in 2024, offering a modern and comfortable design!

The “Irori”

Vacation Rental in Tsugaike
You’ll have the chalet to yourself.
The “Irori”, has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, “irori” fireplace, fan heater, complimentary Wi-Fi access, and a free parking.
A large rental chalet for families and groups next to the Tsugaike ski resort. Surround yourself with friends, drink, talk, laugh, and enjoy yourself to your heart’s content.
This quaint traditional 4 bedrooms and one tatami room japanese chalet fits up to 20 people.

Winter Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee will be charged starting 30 days before the check-in date:
・30–22 days before: 30% of the total amount
・21 days before to the day of check-in: 100%
